The development, design and production of our patented WIRRwAR® fairy light winder comes from our traditional, innovative family business in Austria. We can look back on high-quality plastic production with years of industry experience.

Sustainably produced

Made from recycled material

As a plastics processor, we attach great importance to the responsible use of our raw materials.

By recycling around 500,000 kg of plastic per year (which corresponds to around 20% of our annual raw material requirements in our in-house mill), we extend the life cycle of the raw materials and offer sustainable products of the highest quality. We obtain the recycled plastics from beverage crates, bottle caps and film waste.

Certifications

In addition to routine checks as an Austrian company, we voluntarily participate in ongoing certifications in order to have our sustainable quality confirmed and to be able to guarantee it to our customers.

Electricity generation using photovoltaics

  • In 2022 we installed 2,240 photovoltaic modules.
  • The plant’s output is 850 kWp; this corresponds to the annual electricity consumption of 280 average households in Austria.
  • This allows us to avoid 200,000 kg of CO2 emissions per year.
  • We heat our building 85% with heat recovery from our production energy.
